At eScription, training is a process not an event. Our training department offers a variety of comprehensive training solutions to provide users the skills they need to work with our products proficiently and effectively. Our goal is to maximize customers' success with our products by training them to take full advantage of product capabilities and best practices.

eScription's team of professional trainers use proven adult learning methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer. The process includes our Core Curriculum of hands-on instruction for new customers as well as ongoing, continuous training programs. eScription University offers open enrollment courses available both over the web and in the classroom. All courses are designed to improve productivity and provide valuable return on your investment.

Core Curriculum for New Customers

Prior to and after go-live, eScription delivers customer training on-site. Because each organization is different and training requirements vary, we help determine the approach that most effectively meets your needs. The following classes make up our core curriculum offerings:

For new customers, eScription offers these instructor-led programs:
• EditScript Transcriptionists’ Training: This hands-on, interactive course introduces transcriptionists to EditScript. Practicing with sample dictations provides them the opportunity to use the tools and techniques they will use daily. (Also offered at eScription University)
  Approved by AHDI for 10 CECs
• EditScript Productivity Training: An integral part of EditScript Transcriptionist Training, this interactive follow-up reinforces the use of the EditScript features and Microsoft Word shortcuts that are proven to increase productivity. Participants receive personalized feature usage feedback and coaching.
• EditScript Train the Trainer Program: Prepares your internal training resources to deliver EditScript training to your transcription staff. It is delivered in three separate two day sessions over a period of six weeks. Training candidates deliver EditScript Transcriptionists' Training as part of this program.
• EditScript Administrators’ Training: Provides attendees with the skills and tools necessary to use the Administrators tools to maintain and support the EditScript product. (Also offered at eScription University)
  Approved by AHIMA for 8 CEUs
• PrintScript Administrators’ Training: This document distribution course provides participants with detailed information needed to support the PrintScript product at their institutions. (Also offered at eScription University)
  Approved by AHIMA for 8 CEUs
• NetScript Administrators’ Training: Provides attendees with the skills necessary to understand and participate in the support of eScription electronic signature. (Also offered at eScription University)

Continuous Improvement Programs

eScription University

eScription University provides open enrollment classes for all customers. Continuing Education and Core Curriculum classes are offered to help customers maximize productivity gains and to address changes in staff and configuration at customer sites.

eScription University classes are available at our Needham office facility and over the Internet, in both instructor-led and self-paced formats.

• Introduction to eScription: Provides attendees with an in depth understanding of eScription and the major eScription products.
  Approved by AHIMA for 16 CEU's
• EditScript Train the Trainer program for MTSOs: This three day intensive program is designed to provide an MTSO with the skills and tools necessary to deliver EditScript training to transcription staff. Training candidates are required to participate in pre-training preparation and post-training follow-up, in addition to three days of classroom training. Training candidates will practice delivering EditScript Transcriptionists' Training.
• Reports Training: This in-depth course is designed to provide attendees with the skills necessary to understand eScription reports and retrieve the information they need to effectively manage their operation.
  Approved by AHIMA for 8 CEUs
• Upgrade Training: With each major release of EditScript, we introduce our current customers to the major feature enhancements and the benefits derived from the latest functionality.

eScription classes are certified for Continuing Education Credits by AHDI and AHIMA.

EditScript MT Certification

EditScript MT Certification is a program administered by eScription Training in conjunction with our customers and the MTSOs that work in EditScript. The goal of our certification program is to reinforce concepts and skills learned during training and to acknowledge individuals who demonstrate mastery of these skill sets and increased productivity.

eTips

Each issue of eTips, our quarterly newsletter, includes information that is useful for Transcriptionists and their managers. Readers learn helpful hints on how to increase productivity, enjoy interviews with experienced transcriptionists, and find out about productivity contests. It's an effective way to reinforce continuous improvement.
