eScription Relocates to Larger Corporate Headquarters; Opens New Offices in
Texas and California
November 21, 2005 (Boston, MA) - eScription, Inc., the leader in the Computer Aided Medical Transcription (CA-MT) software, announced that it has relocated to a larger corporate headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts. The new office, located at 160 Gould Street, represents the third in the company's six year history, each necessary due to the expansion of the company.
To expand its local sales presence in the western United States, eScription also recently opened two remote sales offices, one in Austin, Texas and the other in Los Angeles, California.
The eScription headquarters houses a fully redundant, state-of-the-art data center for customer operations. This new facility complements the company's primary off-site data center and is capable of providing full backup and disaster recovery services for customers. "We now have additional power, increased reliability, and expansion capabilities," according to Joseph Goyette, Systems Administration Manager. "This move has positioned us for continued growth of eScription."
eScription develops and markets the EditScriptTM solution for Computer Aided Medical Transcription. The solution is designed to improve the productivity of medical transcription, enabling health care organizations to save costs, reduce turnaround times, and integrate dictated clinician notes seamlessly into an electronic medical record. The company's proprietary intelligent speech recognition software turns clinician's dictations into formatted, first draft documents that medical transcriptionists quickly review and edit, often doubling productivity.
The new headquarters incorporates an open work station area, which takes the place of traditional cubicles. "With the fast growth of the company, we wanted to maintain a culture of communication and collaboration among employees," stated CEO Paul Egerman. "The design of the office space continues to foster this dynamic environment."
